Bridal and Veil called me early in the week to let me know my dress just arrived and I need to come in to pay the rest of the balance hahaha well like I said earlier, I didn't pick this place because of their customer service.
I made an appointment for the afternoon because I wanted to show my sister The dress, only a Catherine and my mom have actually seen the dress in person.
I came in ready with my shoes and was ready to go until I was told I had to go wash my hands before I could try on my own dress. They don't want any oil stains from my hands to damage the materials. Geez alright.
It's been exactly three months since it was ordered and seeing my dress again, I felt yups it's the the right one. It fit snugly and everything was good except the hem was a tiny bit short in the front. I had paid extra for the custom hem to avoid any unnecessary alterations once the dress came in and was even got measured in my shoes when ordering the dress so everything should be perfect. Well, I was assured that the dress just needed to be press/steam and the length will be just right. While waiting for my sister who was stuck in traffic, we tried on a bunch of different veils and nothing really stood out, my mom thinks we can make it ourselves hahah we'll see about that.
After my sister arrived, we took a few pictures, modeled some more veils and the store was closing so it as time to go. I decided to store the dress at Bridal and Veil because I was assured it'll be safe, Anna Marie one of the worker turned it inside out before putting it on the hanger, she told me this will protect the dress so the color doesn't fade and it won't get dirty.
She told me to come in any time to try it on, but avoid the week before and after your period because you'll be bloated and don't wear any makeup and make sure you wash your hands before coming in. Hahaha.
I'll probably try it on at least one or two more time before the wedding. I know I want to get it bustled but I wonder if my mom can just do it... gotta research youtube to see how intense it is.
for the mean time, my dress is safe and sound, waiting to make it appearance in June.
