Annoyed!
We called our jeweler to check on the ring and the news is they're still putting on the side stones. ARGH! They promised it will be ready on Wednesday!
I've watched plenty of Bridezilla and yes, I have the potential to be one! I recognize I have a control problems but this time it's not even me. After getting rescheduled for the third time, the situation just seems ridiculous.
Patience is a virtue and I'm still working on it.

A Royal Affair
This was the most over the top bridal show! Ever watched Plantinun Wedding? The entire event was extravagant and beautiful! Three floors of anything and everything you can imagine for the most amazing wedding.
The food were plentiful: chicken skewers, pot stickers, 3 type of mac and cheese, large cut french fries, sliders, freshly made hydrogen ice cream, and plenty of cakes & candies! I'm sure there were lots of other items that we missed but everything was super tasty.
Plenty of champagne were served and individually mixed drinks satisfied everyone's preferences.
The decor was amazing! Huge flower arrangements and table scape made me wish budget wasn't an issue. I posted my favorite wedding gown from the fashion show, the rest were nice but questionable, when did see-through-corset became so popular? You know they mean business when there were 4 living statues welcoming guests into the show.
Thank you Hai and Maria for coming with me, I had a wonderful time.

Finally!
For Dave's parents 29th anniversary we went to mass at the little chapel on the Barona Resort & Casino then dinner at the Buffet. Father Michael is a close friend to both sides of our family and has been nudging us to get marry for a while now. His great advice whenever we visit him at Barona is "take the right (the church) before the left (casino).
In the car, I bet Dave that when we tell Father Michael we're engaged, his response will be FINALLY! Dave didn't think he would say anything or be that surprise.
After mass, we told him the news and of course his response was FINALLY! and proceeded to pour us cups full of red wines.
It was a wonderful celebration that night. Dave's parents had been married for 29 years and that's definitely commendable. It takes a lot of love and compromise to make it this far. We hope we can follow in our parents loving footsteps.

CAD (Computer Aid Designs)
Long story short, the one Dave proposed with was a 'loner' from the jeweler because he was not happy with the one he originally ordered.
So this time, Dave brought me to meet our jeweler and we all worked together to tweak the details to ensure it would be perfect. With the rush order, it should be done in a week. I'm excited!

Happy Valentine's Day!
I'm so sick... I came home right after work and took some medicine, then went to bed at 3 in the afternoon. I woke up around nine and did a second dose and hopefully I'll stay asleep until tomorrow morning. I would never have imagine this is how I would spend my Valentine's Day especially when I have a new fiance but Dave was stuck in class and I would definitely have not been the best company.

We're engage!
We're engage!
What an eventful day. I woke up this morning and the lens on my glasses popped out. Geez what a great way to start the day. Dave's in Vegas with his co-worker and I didn't have much planned except for lunch with Hai. Lunch became a surprised Valentines Day present from Dave, which then turned into the perfect proposal! ...And the rest was history.
Thank you to all our family and friends who took time out of their busy schedule to make this the most "amazing" day.
This blog is just a way for me to remember this wonderful chapter of our lives. To look back and smile at all the ups and downs...all the firsts.... and to remember what's important is that we travel this new journey together.
